The Penshurst RSL Kookaburras Junior Rugby League Club will attend Anzac Commemorative March and Service to be held at 2pm on Sunday 21 April 2024. The venue for the service is the Penshurst War Memorial, Bridge Street, Penshurst. During the ceremony our club will lay a wreath in memorial to the fallen. The service will follow the march starting from the rear car park of Penshurst RSL Club in Connelly Street at 1.45pm. All players attending to meet for muster at 1:30pm at the RSL Car park. At the conclusion of the service finger food and light refreshments will be provided at the RSL Club in the white room and auditorium in the club.  Please show your support for our club and a tradition that is very important to us all and must be passed on to the next generation. I hope you will be able to attend.  Please liaise with your team management to attend as a group.

Holiday Clinic (1 session): $49 Every League Stars participant will receive a cool pack! Holiday Clinic participants receive a backpack, ball, ball pump, bag tag and cap. You don’t need any special gear, but we love seeing our League Stars wearing the t-shirt from their program pack! We recommend sports clothing, footwear, a hat and sunscreen. Good times tend to work up quite the sweat, so make sure they have a bottle of water and if you think they may get a hungry tummy, pack a snack for afterwards. Back to our Traditional Pre-Season Green and Gold Jersey Presentation. Players to be presented with their 2024 Jersey and introduced to the club membership. U6s - U14s and O'35s League Tag 4:00pm - 6:00pm U16s Girls, U16s Boys, U17s, Open Women & Open Men 6:30pm - 8:30pm. This event will not be catered however you can purchase meals from the club Bistro and the auditorium Bar will be open for you to purchase refresshments.

Held every Friday to help raise funds for our club. We have 15 Meat Trays up for grabs including our Lamb Leg Trays on Draws 1, 7 and 13. All of the ohter draws from 2-15, you get to pick from assorted meat trays such as BBQ packs, Snitzel packs, Chicken Kebab packs or Lamb Loin Chop packs. Tickets from as little as $5 for 6 numbers and we'll throw in an additional 6 numbers for free. We also have our Draw number 16 which is a separate ticket purchase for $2 getting 5 numbers. Draw number 16 is for a supporters pack made up of various Penshurst RSL Junior Rugby League club merchandise. We've been running our Friday night Meat Tray raffles for over 20 years now ans we are an institution at Penshurst RSL Club. People come along on Friday night to support our Rugby League club so that we can help our kids play the greatest game of all at the greatest club of all. Hope to see you there.

All parents please attend the ground 45 minutes to 1 hour prior to game time as we need assistance with setting up the ground, Canteen and BBQ staffing. There is a lot of work that gets done to enable your kids to have a great rugby league experience. We are a volunteer club and we need to share the load. Any parents or members who are not participating on Sunday are well and truly welcome to come down and lend a hand, we'd really appreciate it and you get to emmerse yourselves in the Evatt park Atmosphere. Come down to Kogarah Park Carlton, on Sunday 21st 9:00am - 2:00pm.   St George Junior Rugby League clubs will all be present and is a great place to start if you are looking for a club to play rugby league for or looking to try a new sport. There will be club officials on hand so you can ask any questions about our game and if ready you can lodge your registration on that day. I have also ordered some helium balloons for each club which should arrive by 9.30-10am. This is just to create some colour and atmosphere. You may wish to give a player a balloon when they register if you like. There will be a  Tackle Station & tagging Station with NRL accredited coaches available to take participants through drills and answering questions about Rugby Leagues approach to player safety and development.  There will be activities such as a Pass the Ball Blow Up,  jumping castle, face painters and a BBQ Area where you can pick up a Sausage Sandwich and drink.   Many of our St George Junior Representatives ( Male & Female) will be in attendance along with Harvey Norman Women. Come down to Kogarah Park Carlton, to join in a great day.
